God i wish Christians were as persecuted as they wanted to be. It’d probably stop a lot of things from getting worse.

We should ban the teaching of religion to anyone under the age of 18, possibly even 25. Kids just aren’t old enough to make big meaningful decisions about religion, baptism, confirmation, etc.

It’s only been 7 days. Lol. We still have at least 3.98 years of this (assuming Democracy isn’t abolished after this point and we don’t get to vote anymore).

My greatest desire is my state which is deep blue decides to secede and we get Cascadia up in this shit.

Secession will never happen for anyone anywhere. It’d be bad for business. And both parties serve business primarily and maybe exclusively. Used to be able to say two sides of the same coin, but now they’re more like eyes on a flounder.

Not a fucking chance. First off there are way too many out people in a wide variety of families for any sort of mass arrest action - homosexual relationships have been normalized outside of niche religious communities… secondly, the rich never suffer unless a focus of Trump’s revenge. It’s more likely that Mark Cuban will end up in a camp than Peter Theil.

Look into Night of the Long Knives. Germany before Hitler was very, very metropolitan. Don’t kid yourself that it could never get worse, because it sure as hell can.

I think you really underestimate how sheepish these people are. They are already blaming lgbtq people for the fires in California

The thing that got me in this article was the idiot politician saying that “Christians are being targeted”… oh you dumb toddler… you don’t like how it feels to be “discriminated against” and your solution is to target and discriminate?! An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

The xtians think they are being “discriminated against” when they are told that the rules they think are in their little book club are for THEM and THEM only. The rest of us normal Americans can just ignore their bullshit rules, because they don’t apply in a secular nation.

And this. Drives. Them. Crazy. They want to RULE over others. What’s the point of their little book club if only they have to follow the rules?

For years before it was legalized, all kinds of dire predictions were made (the phrase “man-on-dog” was famously used). Not a single one of them came true.

Same-sex (it really should be called same-gender) marriage hurts no one.

    From the Article

During debate on the House floor Monday, Scott repeatedly said marriage is a decision that should be left for the states to decide. But Scott’s memorial actually calls on the U.S. Supreme Court – not the states – to define marriage as a union of one man and one woman.

Scott went on to say the Obergefell decision poses threats to religious liberty. For example, Scott said cake-makers and photographers were pressured to support marriages they don’t personally agree with.

“Christians across the nation are being targeted,” Scott said.

Fuck Heather Scott. It would be a shame if someone egged her house, every night, while she watches in horror.

Better yet, let’s decide which of her rights she deserves. Maybe none. Can we put her on a flight to Colombia?

Christians across the nation are being targeted

Imagine being in the majority of the population and feeling threatened because minorities have been allowed to exist like everyone else

They are nervously watching their numbers tick down year over year, though. I kind of figured they’d go apeshit as their position of unwarranted privilege started to wither away, but even I didn’t think they’d go all in for a fascist like donvict and those around him.

    I do.
